Welcome to Tenjin's Blog!

Here, we are going to post and share food and items inspired by our hometown of Fukuoka, Japan. We named the restaurant Tenjin (天神), the street in Fukuoka, which is the center of everything in the city. It is a place with not only a long history, but also is on the cutting-edge of music and fashion. Going to Tenjin during the weekend meant something very special to us as kids: dining at a popular restaurant, my mom buying a lovely dress for my piano recital, going to the movie theater, and so on. It was a place where people could see, eat, and shop for things that were one or two levels higher in quality than what was available in the suburbs. We'll keep working to make this restaurant, named after a neighborhood we admire and cherish, a beloved establishment.
